From a short distance, the bud has a moderate/strong smell of some delicious, roasted coffee beans. Up close, an overpowering citrus scent becomes the more defined smell. The citrus portion is very concentrated, and gets much stronger when the bud is squeezed/ground.

The taste is exactly how it smells, with a hint of smokey-ness. It is exactly what you would expect from handling this bud.

Initially causes slight dis-functionality by slowing the mind down moderately. The effect then creeps until the peak, which is head centered, visual, and introspective. The strength of the effect then recedes in a somewhat rapid manner to a sustained mild high. Expect red-eye.

Used Medicinally in California. The effects of Hawaii 5-0 are a mix of an uplifting cerebral buzz with a gentle, warm relaxing body sensation.
